At Mercury Bay Optometrists, we’re helping the Lions Recycle for Sight programme spread the gift of clear vision far and wide.

How it works

The Lions Recycle for Sight programme collects pre-loved glasses from across New Zealand and gives them a second life. Your old prescription glasses, reading glasses, or sunglasses are cleaned, graded, and sent off to communities in the Pacific Islands and beyond — where they help people see clearly again. It’s recycling with heart (and a touch of holiday sparkle).
